Thanks for dropping by. I hope my illustrative style of painting captures your interest!!  My compositions come from my imagination.  I need to create my own story; something that comes to the surface from my soul and so I paint in my home studio with a meditative flow taking me to the raw scents of bushland with birds and trees serenading the energy of new life. 

My inspiration comes from my many visits to beautiful National Parks and as a child I lived beside untouched bushland in the Victorian midlands.  These experiences and my love of the bush have also led me to design and grow an Australian native habitat garden around our suburban home. My garden is a daily reminder to stay close to nature and transfer my thoughts to canvas.

My main medium is acrylic but I occasionally reach for other mixed mediums.
